Tech & AI
25 years of building what comes next.
From network engineering in Dublin to cloud architecture and AI adoption leadership in Canada — a career spent at the edge of what enterprise technology can do.
Career
The long arc
I started in IT when the internet was still finding its footing — configuring networks, managing infrastructure, and learning how large organisations actually run. That foundation has never stopped being useful.
Over 25 years, the work evolved from hands-on engineering into architecture, leadership, and strategy. I've led cloud transformation programmes, built observability practices from the ground up, and guided executive teams through AI adoption at a time when most organisations were still deciding whether to take it seriously.
The through-line has always been the same: understand the system deeply, cut through the noise, and help the organisation move with confidence rather than anxiety.
Areas of Expertise
Where I focus
Data Centre & Cloud Infrastructure
Designing and delivering cloud infrastructure across hyperscalers and more private butique setups, from migration strategy to landing zones, governance frameworks, and cost optimisation. I've led programmes that moved enterprise workloads at scale without disrupting the business.
AI Adoption
Today I lead AI enablement and adoption, accelerating the practical, responsible use of AI across an organisation. That means identifying the use cases with real business value, building the frameworks, tooling and governance that make AI safe to use, and leading the training and change management that turn curiosity into everyday capability. I bring an infrastructure engineer's view: AI only delivers when the platforms, data and people underneath it are ready, and when you measure what actually moves the needle.
Observability
Monitoring has been part of my career from the start: Nagios in Poland, network monitoring at SolarWinds, and eventually leading the team that provides full visibility across more than 100 data centres worldwide. Using Prometheus-based metrics, big data, automation, and Infrastructure as Code, we make sure that every layer of a global infrastructure is visible, measurable and actionable.
IT Leadership
From systems administrator to Infrastructure & Americas Lead to managing global teams, I've spent years leading engineers through complexity: technical direction, major incident response, problem and change management, vendor relationships and product roadmaps. I back that experience with a master's degree in IT and leadership training from Toronto Metropolitan University, and I can speak to engineers and executives in the same language.
